FAQ's

Q.  What does TRACK stand for?
A.  Teaching Responsibility And Choices to Kids.

Q.  When did TRACK start?
A.  in 2000.  We went away from the DARE program in 2000.

Q.  What grade level is TRACK taught at?
A.  All of the 5th grade students at Bayfield and Durango schools, and the 6th graders in Ignacio are taught the TRACK Program.

Q.  Do the TRACK Teachers teach anything else?
A.  Yes. They are School Resource Officers trained in teaching all types of grade levels and topics.

Q.  If I give to the "Friends of TRACK" what does that money go towards?
A.  All kinds of stuff.  Mainly TRACK Graduation expences (t-shirts, food, certificates), but it also goes toward other things like Web Hosting, Stickers, Community events (like Snowdown), and more.  None of the money is paid to any Board Members or Officers.
